Bruce Anderson is one of the country’s most experienced research professionals. He began working as a research consultant with Decima Research in 1983 and became President in 1989, at the age of 32. He went on to be a founding Partner of the Earnscliffe Strategy Group and built and ran a successful research and communications boutique for 15 years with that firm. In 2004, he rejoined Decima Research as CEO, and ran the company for four years, during which revenues grew significantly, and the company was twice named one of Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies.

After completing a transaction with Harris Interactive, Anderson resigned Harris Decima to start Anderson Insight, a consulting boutique that provides public opinion/market research and advice.

Anderson Insight combines the latest and best techniques in data collection from a variety of blue-chip suppliers, with deep experience in design, analysis, and interpretation. The company serves many of Canada’s best known and most successful corporations and industry groups, and conducts many qualitative and quantitative studies each year.

Bruce Anderson is one of Canada’s leading commentators on trends in public opinion and politics. He is a regular member of Canada’s most watched political panel, CBC’s At Issue, and writes a blog for the Globe and Mail, Canada’s national newspaper.

In 2011, Bruce Anderson also became a founding partner of i2 Ideas and Issues Advertising a company specializing in campaigns that related to public affairs. I2 has fast become known as the leader in this field, with campaigns for oil sands, natural gas, banking, mining, pipelines and telecommunications clients.
